Vermont Colleges for the Culinary Arts

Known for maple syrup and scenic mountains, Vermont is also home to several culinary arts schools. With many ski resorts and restaurants in the New England area, Vermont culinary arts college programs fill the demand for qualified chefs, pastry chefs and food service management personnel.

New England Culinary Institute
Located in Vermont's state capital, Montpelier, the New England Culinary Institute is surrounded by scenic beauty. Students attending this school have the option of living on campus in a furnished dorm or renting a nearby apartment or house. The New England Culinary Institute offers a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management with Specializations in Baking and Pastry and Wine and beverage. Memberships in a local fitness center are free of charge to full-time students and a variety of activities such as skiing and snowboarding are available near the campus. Students graduating from N.E.C.I. can expect job placement assistance at top hotels and restaurants worldwide. 

Johnson State College
The Johnson State College campus is located in scenic Johnson, Vermont. Offering Bachelor's Degrees in Restaurant and Food Services Management, this school prepares students for careers in kitchens and hotels and offers job placement assistance to it's graduates. There are dorms, a dining hall, fitness center and a student employment agency to serve the needs of the students attending Johnson State College. The culinary program offered here will teach all aspects of kitchen operations and management.
